Hieronymus Cock

Flemish artist Hieronymus Cock was an etcher as well as a publisher of prints. After studying in Rome he returned to Antwerp to open his own publishing house called Aux quatre vents (the "House of Four Winds") where he published works by well-known printmakers such as Cornelis Cort. In his own works he was inspired by the artists Pieter Brueghel and Hieronymus Bosch.
