Chauncey M. Adams

American , 1895 - 1931

An etcher, painter and teacher, Chauncey M. Adams was born in Unadilla Forks, New York. In addition to serving in World War I, Adams was a pupil of Daniel Garber at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts and a member of the Utica Art Students League. His prints are often associated with the New Hope School and frequently depict woodland snowscapes populated by quaint houses.
