Born in London Radford sudied at St Albans School of Art and camberwell School of Art, graduating in 1975. In the 1980s and 90s he lived in New York, teaching at The Drawing Centre and at the New York Studio School. His work often features crowds, distorted and visually manipulated. His paintings are currently exhibited by Agnews, London. Often on a grand scale his work is included in collections including: Credit Suisse, New York; Fidelity Insurance Company, Boston; Metropolitan Museum of Art; New York Public Library and Yale Center for British Art, Connecticut.
