Juan López

Spanish , 1979 -

Juan López’ work reflects on how the experience of inhabiting limits our perception of space and time. His work turn toward elements of an architectural character associated with structures of power in order to capture the alternatives toward normative social relationships. Through metaphors -and always from a specific intervention in given spaces- he seeks to break and then recompose the links between the three elements that make up the equation of his work: city, subjectivity and power.
