Italian painter, printmaker, sculptor and draughtsman, Mimmo Paladino attended the Liceo Artistico di Benevento from 1964 to 1968. In 1976 he had his first solo exhibitions at the galleries D’Arte Duemila in Bologna and Nuovi Strumenti in Brescia.
In 1977 Paladino moved to Milan and began producing mostly monochrome paintings in blue, red or yellow, sometimes incorporating found objects. After 1980 Paladino’s technical versatility extended to various forms of printmaking, including etching, aquatint and linocut.
