Newell Hillis Arnold
Born in North Beach, Dakota, Arnold gained a BA. from the Minneapolis School of Art as well as studying at the University of Minnesota and the Cranbrook Academy of Art.
An etcher, lithographer, sculptor and craftsman, Arnold's work has been exhibited at numerous sites including the Architectural League in 1937, the New York World's Fair in 1939 and the City Art Museum of St. Louis. Arnold also taught sculpture and ceramics at the Monticello College, Illinois from 1938.
