Screenprint on Lenox Museum Board with flocking. One of 45 individual trial proofs not in portfolios, this copy TP 5/45. Each print is unique.

Warhol and Beuys became friends after meeting in Düsseldorf, Germany, in 1979. Warhol used Beuys as a subject for many of his paintings as well as several prints. This print is based on a photograph by Andy Warhol and this series is the only time Warhol used rayon flock in screenprints.
