John Ittmann for Mexico and Modern Printmaking: A Revolution in the Graphic Arts, 1920 to 1950 The International Fine Print Dealers Association (IFPDA) announces the selection of John Ittmann, Curator of Prints at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, as the recipient of the 2007 Annual IFPDA Book Award for the exhibition catalogue Mexico and Modern Printmaking: A Revolution in the Graphic Arts, 1920 to 1950 published in 2006 by the Philadelphia Museum of Art and the McNay Art Museum, San Antonio, in association with Yale University Press. The catalogue accompanied the exhibition of the same title organized by the Philadelphia Museum of Art and the McNay Art Museum , San Antonio which opened in 2006 and also traveled to the Frist Center for the Visual Arts, Nashville and the Phoenix Art Museum . The catalogue was edited by John Ittmann with contributions by Innis Howe Shoemaker, the Audrey and William H. Helfand Senior Curator of Prints, Drawings, and Photographs also at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, James M. Wechsler, an independent scholar based in New York, and Lyle W. Williams, Curator of Prints and Drawings at the McNay.
