Valerie Hammond

Valerie Hammond has most recently lived in New York City. She received her B.A. from the University of California at Santa Barbara in 1976 and her M.F.A. from the University of California at Berkeley in 1980. She is a painter and printmaker.

Hammond has been exhibiting her work in and around New York for the last ten years. She has participated in exhibitions at the Montclair Art Museum in New Jersey, Kendall Fine Art in Hudson and the Islip Art Museum in Islip. Her work has also been exhibited at The Painting Center, the Studio in a School Association and the Artist Space, all in New York City.
