Adachi Ginko

Born Adachi Heishichi, woodblock printmaker, Ginko studied with the Western-style painter Goseda Horyu I. Ginko drew hanshita for prints of the Boshin rebellion in 1870. He also produced satirical cartoons, book illustrations, prints of the Sino- Japanese War and actor portraits.
