May Ames

Born in Cleveland, Ohio, Ames studied at the Cleveland School of Art, the Rhode Island School of Design, Johonnot and abroad. An etcher, lecturer, teacher and painter, Ames was additionally a member of the Women's Art Club of Cleveland and the Cleveland School of Art.
