Anthony Frost

Born in St Ives in 1951 Anthony is the second son of Kath and Terry Frost. He studied at Cardiff College of Art between 1970 and 1973. Frost has taught at Falmouth and Canterbury Schools of Art and continues to be a visiting artist, and part-time lecturer, when he is not painting in his studio in Cornwall. He has made screenprints, particularly combined with woodblocks, at Advanced Graphics London since the 1990s. A regular exhibitor at the Royal Academy of Arts in London, and the IFPDA Print Fair in New York, his colourful and exuberant abstract prints are unmistakeable. Frost has been commissioned by the Eden Project, Cornwall to design a planted area, and his paintings have been used by the band ‘The Fall’ for their album covers.
