Yizhak Elyashiv

Born in Jerusalem, Israel, Yizhak Elyashiv received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the Bezalel Academy of Art and design in Jerusalem in 1990. He received a Master of Fine Arts degree from the Rhode Island School of Design in 1992.

Elyashiv is widely recognized for his “Handful of Grains Map”, series. He has participated in exhibitions at the Delaware Center for Contemporary Art, The University of Wyoming Art Museum, Yale University Art Gallery, The Cleveland Museum of Art, Brown University and The Tel-Aviv Museum in Israel, among others.
