Jakob Demus

The artist prints his own work on hand-made paper. He works directly on the copper plate with the diamond point, without a preliminary drawing. The editions are small, generally in the range of twenty to thirty impressions only. His work was the subject of a major retrospective at the Rembrandthuis Museum in 2005 and a catalogue raisonne has been published by the Hercules Segers Foundation.
