Nicolas Toussaint Charlet

Nicolas Charlet specialized in lithograps and etchings of military subjects and civil life. These themes were particularly popular in art during his lifetime, during and after the Napoleonic wars. He was close friend of the Romantic painter and lithographer Theodore Gericault.
