Stephen Buckley

A British artist, Stephen Buckley was born in 1944 in Leicester. From 1962- 1967 he studied at the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne under Richard Hamilton and for the next two years he attended the University of Reading. He has taught at a number of schools including, Canterbury College of Art (1969-1970), Leeds College of Art (1970) and the Chelsea Art School (1971-1980). Buckley was appointed Artist in Residence at King’s College in Cambridge from 1972-1974. He has participated in numerous one-man and group exhibitions throughout the world.
