Vito Acconci

Born in the Bronx, NY in 1940, Vito Acconci’s work includes prints, poetry, performance works, installations, bodyworks, videos and architectural installations. He received a B.A. from Holy Cross College in Worcester, Massachusetts in 1962 and a M.F.A. from the University of Iowa in Iowa City in 1964.

During the mid 1980s, Acconci created one monumental etching and a series of three small etchings using conventional techniques, shaped plates and embossing.
