Magdalena Abakanowicz

Magdalena Abakanowicz has been considered one of the most influential female artists of the 20th century. Though she works often as a sculptor, she has also produced many screenprints, watercolor and gouache paintings, as well as textile designs. Though her media is diverse, her forms are often organic and large. She has worked as a professor of art for several years, holding positions in both Poland and the United States.
