Terry Winters

Born in Brooklyn, Terry Winters received his B.F.A. from the Pratt Institute. He currently ives and works in New York City and Geneva. He is a painter and draftsman and a prolific printmaker. In the beginning of his career, Winters worked in an abstract visual language that tended toward the organic, but recently his imagery is more about visual and spatial perception. He has also moved away from his early monochromatic renditions to create more colorful pieces.
