Altoon Sultan
American
(born 1948)
Altoon Sultan was born in Brooklyn, New York in 1948. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Brooklyn College in 1969 and in 1970 she attended the Skowhegan School in Maine. In 1971 she received a Master of Fine Arts in Painting from Brooklyn College. In 1995 Altoon was elected as a member of the National Academy of Design in New York. Most recently, Altoon has lived in Vermont.
