William J. Kitchens
American
(born 1951)
William Kitchens’ intaglio and lithographic prints explore man’s inner fears and passions. His compositions of bizarre multi-specie beings, or floating furniture covered by amorphous blobs refer to unknown, other-worldly forces. His exquisitely rendered work poses interesting psychological questions about man and his demons amidst the alien world.
Kitchens is a full-time professor of art at Loyola University in New Orleans. He exhibits extensively and has received numerous awards.
