John Henry Hill

Printmaker and painter – born in 1839 in Nyack, N.Y. The son of John William Hill, and grandson of John Hill both prominent artists. He exhibited his work in Philadelphia and New York City starting in the late 1850's. In 1888 he etched and published "An Artist's Memorial" to honor his father's painting.
