The IFPDA’s Board of Directors is drawn from members in varying specialties and geographic locations to ensure that the full diversity of its membership has representation. Directors volunteer for three-year terms and attend four meetings each year. Directors also chair and serve on the organization's committees on Grants, Programs, Membership, Regional Print Fairs, and the New York Print Fair. Elections to the Board are held in November at the Association's Annual Membership Meeting.
The IFPDA’s Office implements the organization’s mission and objectives as defined by the Board of Directors. It responds to inquiries from the media and the general public, publishes the Annual Membership Directory, administers the organization's websites at www.ifpda.org and www.printfair.com, develops programming, and organizes the Annual Print Fair in New York.
