Jacques (aka Jacob) de Gheyn III (aka de Gheyn the Younger)

Jacques de Gheyn III is the son and follower of Jacques de Gheyn II, and the last of three generations of Dutch artists of the same name. Lesser known than his predecessor, de Gheyn III was an engraver who specialized in mythical subjects. He is also known for having been the subject for a c.1632 portrait by Rembrandt.
