Russian , 1953 -

Konstantin Chmutin was born in Leningrad in 1953. While growing up in Russia, he pursued studies at the Highest School of Civil Engineering. His mezzotints have been included in many solo exhibitions in the United States, Poland, Russia and Scotland. His work has gained acceptance into numerous international print competitions, winning more than ten awards. In 1994, Chmutin was selected to participate in “Intergrafia ’94- World Award Winners Gallery” in Katowice, Poland.

He is a member of the Saint Petersburg Artists Association in Russia and a Fellow Member of the Royal Society of Painter- Printmakers of London. Among his mezzotints are “Temptation III”, “Garlic Clove” and “Shells No. 1 & 2”.
