William Ross Abrams
William Ross Abrams was born in Richmond,VA in 1920. A graduate at the Cape School of Art and Richmond Professional Institute, Abrams enrolled in the army in 1942. He later left the army in 1945 after being awarded the Legion of Merit, Bronze Star, the Purple Heart as well as other medals. He was later awarded the Guggenheim Fellowship for creative work. A student of lithographic printing under Robert Blackburn, Abrams work is best recognized for his lithographs.
William Ross Abrams passed away in 2007.
