Howie Lee Weiss
Howie Lee Weiss received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the Maryland Institute College of Art and a Master of Fine Arts degree in Painting from the Yale University School of Art and Architecture in New Haven, Connecticut. Weiss has received numerous Maryland State Arts Council Individual Artist Awards, in addition to a Baltimore City Arts Grant and the Phelps Berdan Award for Painting. Weiss was a visiting artist and critic at the Corcoran School of Art in Washington, D.C., at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, at Princeton University and at the Massachusetts College of Art. He is also a faculty member of the Drawing, Painting and Graphic Fine Arts departments at the Maryland Institute College of Art.
